Being one of the most prestigious clubs if the Country, Wentworth had to get a mention on this list. Situated in Virginia Water in Surrey, Wentworth annually hosts the BMW PGA, which was won by South Korean breakthrough Byeong Hun An. However, this kind of dignitary service comes at a steep price, to put it bluntly in order to be a member at Wentworth you need to be absolutely loaded. New members have to fork out for a £125,000 joining fee, luckily once you’ve joined the annual membership fees are a cool £16,000. In 2014 current Wentworth members were asked to fork up another £100,000 in debentures for the club. Surely all of this means that Wentworth is one of the most exclusive clubs in all of Britain. I’ll start saving now.
