Best Tennis Courts in Surrey

Surrey is home to some of the richest stars around, satisfying the likes of the Redknaps, Ringo Starr and tennis legend Andy Murray.  If the county can keep Mr. Murray happy (well, his own understated and/or depressing version of happy), then its plethora of Surrey tennis courts will most certainly be good enough for you.

Members Clubs...

Coombe Wood Lawn Tennis Club

Situated close to Kingston Hospital, the tennis club is surrounded by verdant greenery.  The club boasts 7 floodlit outdoor courts; 5 top class artificial grass and 2 with artificial clay surfacing.  All of the courts are well maintained to a high standard.  There is a one off £100 joining fee followed by a £240 senior member fee or £95 fee for under 26s (further concessions are available).

Thames Ditton Lawn Tennis Club

Established in 1882, this is one of the oldest clubs in England.  The club is intrinsically linked with the Lawn Tennis association and balances competitive and progressive opportunities with its thriving social scene.  With 4 all weather hard courts and 6 seasonal grass courts (May to September) this club is a winner for summer tennis.  Junior holiday camps are run by LTA accredited coaches, as are weekly coaching sessions for all ages and abilities.  Adult “Mix-ins” are held every Friday evening, with coaching and Cardio Tennis making up the weekday timetable.  Internal leagues are hosted for competitive and social play whilst the club’s teams also compete in regional tournaments.  Memberships for the club are extremely reasonable, with an annual 18-30 membership costing just £90, over 30s paying £230, juniors being charged £50-£65 and a full family membership costing £465.
