Premiership Football Pitch Sizes 2013 - 2014

Official Football Pitch Dimensions - Width and Length Football Pitch Size varies across the Premier League and beyond It is a common misconception that that the size of a football pitch must always be the same size. We completely dispel this myth as it actually varies across all levels of the game whether at your local recreation ground or throughout the English Premier League. Well as shown by the hand drawn diagram (see top right), the actual football pitch length can vary enormously from 100 yards (91.44m) to 130 yards (118.9m). Furthermore the width of a football pitch can vary by 100% from just 50 (45.7m) to 100 yards (91.44m). Football Pitch Size Recommendations for Width and Length. Sizes of Premiership football pitches do differ, but not by as much as you might think. Is there are a correlation between the success of the team and the pitch size? We'll let you decide...
