Volleyball, often perceived as a sport played only by Brazilians in bikinis, has two main formats; indoor team based volleyball (teams of six) and outdoor beach based (teams of two to six). Whilst London isn't necessarily known for its weather, beach volleyball courts have sprung up left, right and centre such as at the Crystal Palace, Southwark and Barnes. As a sport volleyball is hugely popular on the continent and in South America, often surpassing football in many countries. In London it is particularly amongst foreign nationals who after moving to London struggle to find volleyball players or London volleyball teams looking for players. So this is exactly why we created OpenPlay Connect to help connect volleyball players together. Anyone is welcome to create a free profile (click here) in a matter of minutes. Select your location, ability, gender and distance you are prepared to travel. Our site will then do the rest, notifying you when another volleyball player appears in your area. London Volleyball groups can also see your profile too and send you a message which is automatically emailed to you. Check out what the OpenPlay volleyball player finder looks like: By Sam Parton
