The London Borough of Newham was one of the six chosen Boroughs to host the 2012 London Olympics. In fact it is even home to the majority of the Olympic Park and it is home to the Olympic Stadium.

Activities in Newham
The Stadium has continued to have good use post Olympics and in 2015 it also hosted The Rugby World Cup, which any England fan would rather pretend didn’t happen. Going forward it is going to be the long term home of West Ham Football club.
There are a number of other sporting facilities in Newham, these include Brampton Park, Newham/ East Ham leisure centres and a whole array of parks. If you fancy really pushing yourself to the limit then head down to the ‘Immortals Gym’ in Wanstead Park.
