Area guide: Bedfordshire
Bedfordshire is a county in the Thames and Chiltern region of England to the North of London. It contains two major towns, Bedford and Luton which have very different demographics. For example Bedford has one of the largest populations of Italians in the UK, whilst Luton is has a higher proportion of other ethnicities. One of the most famous residents from Luton is cricketer Monty Panesar, widely considered one of the best spin bowlers of all time. One thing that is for sure is there are plenty of sports facilities in Bedfordshire.
